Although I was born during the dark years of apartheid, I was blessed with parents who always were extremely positive about the future of our country and always prepared us for better days, a personality trait that I have modelled my tour guiding technique around.
After climbing the ladder in the corporate world, I soon found the perfect space to grow what I was most passionate about: interacting with new people every day. As the son of preacher, I learnt the art of storytelling, and tourism allows me to do what I am most passionate about.
When I started Roots Africa Tours in …, it was built on my love for my city, my country and my continent, all of which is central to every person employed in our team today.
I am an avid traveller, and love nothing more than learning more about new cultures, people and places… locally and abroad. By learning more about the world afar, I have found a deeper appreciation for the world immediately around us.
