I was born and raised in Worcester, one of the rural town on the outskirts of Cape Town, but moved into the city approximately 25 years ago. I have always loved working with people and have always been drawn to employment opportunities that prioritized a direct customer interface as the primary form of interaction. I naturally am sociable.
In the years after relocating, I did a series of courses to facilitate my offering as a tour guide, and now specialize in Cape Town and the Western Cape, with a keen interest in history of the region.
Being a tour guide in a city consistently voted as one of the worlds top holiday destination comes with a range of expectations associated with professionalism, being adaptable and knowledgeable… all of which are challenges I thrive on and always strive to improve on. I take my responsibility of being an ambassador for my city very seriously, and look forward to every opportunity to showcase the best of what we have to offer as a country. I love the idea of always meeting new people, and I am confident that after we’ve spent some time together that they will love my city and country as much as I do.
